In the 1881 census, Florence was 2-years-old and living at 124 Turners Road, Middlesex with her family.
In the 1901 census, she was living at 2 Penshurst Road, Hackney, London with her parents. Her occupation was Commercial Clerk (Lady).
In the 1911 census, Florence was 32 and living at 151 Braidwood Road, Catford, Lewisham, London with her parents William, age 66 and Hersillia, age 67. Her was single and her occupation was Warehouse Clerk.
In 1926 she emigrated to Australia leaving London for Adelaide on the 'Largs Bay' 4 January 1926. The passenger list shows she was 47, her last address in the U.K. as 48 Dowanhill Road, Catford, S.E.6, her occupation was clerk.
Florence visited England in 1954 when she was 75. She returned to Adelaide on board the R.M.S. Orion that left London 26 March 1954. The shipping list shows that her last address in the U.K. was 157 Longlands Road, Sidcup, Kent (the house of her sister Hersillia Kate Whiteway)
